My goal is to reach as many women and women’s groups as possible in order to enhance their lives. My message is that no matter what life has thrown at you, positive or negative, you can use it to gain your highest potential. I can shed light on difficult topics and help others learn how to use coping tools can be managed more efficiently and powerfully.

To organize people individually or in groups; to be able to find the courage and strength to realize they do have a voice and purpose and live their best life.

Through my life I have seen a common thread that has been present to me in almost everything I’ve done. That thread is teaching, coaching, listening, and sharing. My profession as a teacher of 32 years has prepared me to do what I believe to be my life’s purpose.

Living as a single mom of two children for a portion of my life I’ve had to make decisions and navigate some very rocky roads. Having one failed marriage due to alcoholism and stressed finances, I quickly learned what I DIDN’T want the rest of my life to look like. In my personal life I’ve endured things that most people don’t like to talk about like, alcoholism, divorce, molestation, abortion, dealing with a child that was bullied and diagnosed with ADD, hearing that one of my children was gay, and other things that generally people have a hard time facing.

I pulled myself up out of a deep financial hole and started to become what my parents have always raised me to be. Having had experiences that defeat a lot of women, it became my mission to Find my inner strengths, listen to the voice of reason and be true to myself in order to form the best version of ME.

I have over 30 years in education. I am also a certified life coach.

In my work I have been able to help women overcome some deep seeded marital issues, helped organize their lives, and have given them the courage to speak and get rid of the fear of being judged by others.

When I first met Donna, I was a burnt-out speech therapist. I knew I no longer wanted to practice speech therapy ( at least not in the capacity I was until that point) but I didn't know what I DID want to do. We set out on a mission to help me figure out what I want to be when I grow up. We spent a few sessions compiling a list of possible career options and then, one by one, discussed the pros and cons of each one until we narrowed down the list to the best fitting possibilities. I am now looking into other venues through which to practice speech therapy, as well as finding out more about hypnotherapy and home staging which were two ideas that Donna mentioned that spoke to me. I have not made any actual steps toward pursuing certification for either one, but it does feel better having clarified my options.

Donna led the first Women's Empowerment Group I had ever attended. The topics discussed helped me to overcome mental roadblocks that prevented me from enjoying life. Donna is smart, kind, patient and encouraged our group not to be afraid to share our hi stories.
